Anecdote 2

Ken has extremely conservative beliefs. Once I remember watching television with him and the proposition ads came on discussing things like immigration and same-sex marriage. He was eating oatmeal at the time, and when the words "Jesus would vote NO on Prop 8" were said by a narrator, he threw his oatmeal at the television screen and yelled "WOULD NOT, I TALK TO HIM EVERY DAY" while attempting to stand up, but falling onto his knees. His nurse came running over to him, lifting him up back onto the couch.
